Have you ever thought about whether dairy is in what you eat? I didn’t until now. Even my package of frozen PEAS warns it contains milk. It seems to be in everything and I am struggling to find away to avoid it, as my little one can’t have it. I’ve tried some dairy free dishes, using rice cheese. It’s dairy free, soy free and lactose free. It taste like cardboard. I can’t bring myself to feed something I WOULD NEVER EAT, to my child.
I came across a cookbook from a mother dealing with the same issue, thinking I’d found the solution from someone who’s been there done that. Glad I looked it over before I bought it. It turns out, her son outgrew his dairy allergy so the recipes reintroduced dairy after all. So much for that.
