The Drive:
Still love Westwood in the nasty stuff, a strong shotmaker with great patience from the right side of the pond. Tiger will be somebody to be contended with, simply because he has all the shots, assuming he can make a putt. But wasn’t it just grand to see pro’s so neutralized at the mercy of the elements? 40 mile per hour winds are for kites, not golf tournaments.
The Fairway:
Honestly, I wasn’t sure the Magic were going to keep Redick after they signed Quentin Richardson—not that the two guys have the same skill set, but I thought they might be headed in a different direction. Not so much. Three years—and 19 million dollars later, J.J. stays in Orlando and nearly doubles his yearly salary. Nicely done.
The Green:
If I may, I’m gonna diverge here and talk about my beloved Phillies. Can this team not deal to sure up that bullpen. Please? C’mon Charlie, make a move already. How many games must they lose in the 8th and 9th to see the writing on the wall. It makes me want to scream.
The Jar:
Are you ready for football? ACC meetings next weekend, and the high school camps open August 2nd. Just in case you are wondering….and the Redskins report on the 29th. Peace be with you.
