The Drive:
It’s get well time. Boise, frankly, came a couple of weeks too early..and they nearly won it anyway. JMU will likely be the team the Hokies take it all out on. I’m looking forward to seeing a running game get cranked up.
The Fairway:
Christiansburg is moving people down. Pulaski gets a ‘w”...in three OT’s over a much improved Patrick Henry team. And Northside handles Cave Spring and looks exactly like a defending state champ should look. Impressive. Keep your eye on Winfred Beale’s gang at Floyd. And how about Brookville and Liberty…both rolling along. Interesting year indeed.
The Green:
The chase is coming, the chase is coming…..and all eyes on Clint Bowyer. Meanwhile, I’m hoping Denny Hamlin has some hometown success and gathers some momentum before the final push. The 11 Fed Ex car hasn’t exactly been tearing it up lately. And I’m not certain anybody has anything for Kevin Harvick.
The Jar:
Tigers love pepper. They hate cinnamon.
