The Drive:
As many of you know I’m a Florida grad so the whole Tim Tebow deal is not very shocking to me. The guy found a way to help the Gators win two national titles in a league where you are lucky to win two division games a year. Not sure why anyone would be surprised that the guy is winning. The SEC IS basically NFL-lite. Gotta be honest, sure was nice to see the Steelers go down in a heap. While I love fans that are passionate…they can be….well…you know who you are. You got Tebowed!
The Fairway:
The Redskins bottled lightning by getting the ousted Tampa Bay Bucs Coach Raheem Morris—-as a defensive backs coach! Seems to me they have three Head Coaches on staff. Now..about that owner…..ahhhhhhh.
I’m feeling a major upset or two as the NFL playoffs come down the stretch. The AFC could literally go to anyone. I like the Saints in the NFC. I don’t care if they play on the moon…they can score.
The Green:
I’m curious to see where RG3 goes in the upcoming NFL draft. He’s another of the new breed of NFL QB’s and while he’s not the physical specimen that Cam Newton is, he has mad skills. There are plenty of teams that need QB’s, but how many will adjust to his game?
The Jar:
My preseason college top five: Arkansas, LSU, USC, West VIrginia, and South Carolina. (‘Bama’s taking draft losses, but I reserve the right to move them back in!)
