The Drive:
I haven’t written the Redskins off before the season. Honest. They actually improved the offensive line, and I love Donovan McNabb. I’ve always liked the roster, and I like Shanahan alot. This could be interesting. Interesting enough to take out Dallas? I don’t know…but it should be fun.

The ACC Kickoff was enjoyable, and interesting as always. Butch Davis was actually very pleasant while refusing to comment about the NCAA stuff. I found Coach London to be energetic and engaging. It was strange not to see Bobby Bowden there. I interviewed that man back in 1987, was totally enthralled, and he never ceased to do the same in every interview since. He’s got the Duke program turned, and that’s a great thing.
