The Drive:
NASCAR is worried about the safety issue on pit road—AFTER the race? Really? But they have no problem with one driver spinning out the other and sending him end over end at 180 plus miles per hour? What? These NASCAR competition committee guys are hilarious. I suppose its the ole’...they choose to be out there…but the guys in the pits don’t make that decision. OK..but is either fine with you? You can’t tell a guy driven to win…it’s OK out there..but not in here. Emotions don’t work that way. You don’t just shut them off when you see pit road. Kyle and Kevin aren’t just gonna play nice as soon as they see an official. Actually, the official may want to give them some distance as well. They probably have a bone or two to pick with them, too.
The Fairway:
Why does the NBA feel so staged? Because the officials are clearly biased and have agendas…and they can really change the flow and momentum in games. And they know it. I will stop short of saying games are fixed….or points shaved…I think they dealt with that issue years ago and identified a problem ref. But that NBA draft lottery? THE FIX WAS IN. Please. The 14 year old with the bow tie who has fought his way though a lifelong disease, the franchise that wins the “most dissed” award during this whole Lebron sideshow gets the first pick? Really? And go check under your pillow kid..the tooth fairy just landed. And the rainbows and unicorns are in your backyard…..if you live in Cleveland…hahahaha.
The Green:
Take a good long look at Tiger’s swing…say..from the 1997 Masters. There is more torque on that front leg than in all the sequels of the Fast and the Furious combined. His knee is shot..four operations and he’s just 35, and his achilles is jacked up. Those 14 majors came at the expense of a working lead leg. For the record..Jack’s swing..while powerful and furious for his time…allowed him to last a little longer because it was more stable at the bottom. All his power cuts destroyed his hip, which he had replaced years ago. But his legs are fine. Tiger coming back to win another major is a long shot in my book, because that front leg won’t stand for it much longer. Four more? I doubt it. I don’t think he plays four more years. At some point, he has to choose—walk when your 60, or play golf when your 40. Which would you choose?
