The Drive:
It would have to be Sid Crosby, sure it would. Who doesn’t like the kid, the next in line of NHL superstars, following some guy named Mario in the Steel-City—where hockey and the Steelers are met with equal passion. Scary. Great game though. Great comeback…from two goals down to tie. Drama, passion. Skill. That’s hockey at its best.
The Fairway:
Could somebody please cut Jimmie’s tires, so maybe somebody else can win? HAHA. No, No. Kidding. I really think Jimmie needs a rival. A real, I can challenge you on all levels at any given track type of rival. Please. Somebody step up. I can’t go through a fifth season of the 48. The sport needs balance, desperately.
The Green:
Well…I endured he delays, the lack of plumbing at Cassell, and the two overtimes and it turned out to be one of the best college basketball games I had ever witnessed. Vasquez was out of his mind, and just plain looney on the court. The guy actually fed off the hecklers….and taunted them back. It was crazy. Slapping the floor, blowing kisses, pointing at his verbal attackers..and all the while pouring in shot after shot after shot when it mattered. 41 points in all. Wild stuff. Tough loss, but a great battle.
The Jar:
Tomorrow night it starts again….Dread the Red.
