Is NASCAR Kidding? With Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski and Juan Pablo Montoya on the Track?

  The Drive:
Mike Helton sat there with a straight face and said no more bump draft rules…we are putting it back in the hands of the drivers. Heaven help us all. You just handed M-80’s to a third grade class full of boys and set the trashcan on fire..then left the room and said..now boys….behave….! HA!  There’s about to be more twisted metal than your average high school shop class. Stop the madness. When Denny and Brad get together again, or Kyle and Carl, or Tony and Juan Pablo…or Juan Pablo and everybody….Seriously? And they are adding more horsepower too?  My only thought—I hope we don’t lose anybody out there. Pray to God we don’t.

  The Fairway:
Brett Favre shredded the Cowboys like my son Aidan shreds those Cowpals string cheese deals. He devours them, and yes, if I let him…he would eat four…just like Favre tossed four touchdowns. Yummy!  He’s in the top three or four big game quarterbacks ever to play the game in my mind, behind Montana and Bradshaw..maybe Tom Brady. That’s about it. Elway? I guess we can argue Staubach, too.

  The Green:
Chan Gailey Buffalo? Really? Did I miss something?  Was there nobody else? The guy was fired by Kansas City as an offensive coordinator BEFORE the season even began.

  The Jar:
Mike Vick’s new TV show “The Michael Vick Project” includes him returning to his old property and walking down memory lane of his dogfighting venture….and listening to how he feels awful about it. I think I’d rather have a 24-hour stomach virus…......
