Boston’s Surge, Philly’s last stand, and Gearhead talk in NASCAR

  The Drive:
The Celtics turned the tables in LA…now can they sustain anything. My guess is—this is a seven game series. The age of the Boston team tells me they will have some kind letdown, and the Lakers can rise up at least once in Boston to force it back to LA. Just a gut, but the Celtics can win in LA if the need to…and why not in a 7th game?

  The Fairway:
Are the Gibbs cars…ready to move past Hendrick down the stretch..and win a title—Hamlin—Kyle…Logano?  The answer I’m getting—is only if Jimmie is out of the chase should be we go there right now. Denny looks like he’s got the right mentality to move on this, but Kyle certainly has a chance to steal wins with his ‘restart’ ability. The Childress cars have a legit shot in Kevin Harvick, because he’s doing much the same thing Denny is—running well at tracks he doesn’t normally, and staying around the top ten every week.

The Green:
My beloved Flyers will win Game six. Bank on it. Can they win in Chicago. Only if they can get some goaltending in game seven. I mean—lights out goaltending. Not sure they have that—but we’ll see. First..game six…and Philly will be jumpin.

The Jar:
I was reminded today that Nature’s pace…is patience. We all should try to embrace some of that. And buy the 100 percent juice pouches. Don’t be fooled!
